After a rather successful gig last night, I think we'll be hearing a lot more of group of newcomers by the name of Led Zeppelin.

I am hoping to see a Pink Floyd reunion tour happen next year, fingers crossed for that, because no matter what I will go.
So I say more Floyd in 2008.

ach why not broaden the horizons. There's this really amazing Finnish band (whom I doubt many of you will have heard of) who released a new album towards the end of 2007, with their new singer. This band is Nightwish. The new singer is Anette Olzon. The new album? Dark Passion Play. Seriously guys, check it out. It's so epic! And songs to youtube first off would be singles Amaranth and Bye Bye Beautiful. Then look for Eva (the song with which Anette was announced as new singer) and a song that the mastermind behind the band, Tuomas Holopainen, wrote for a film, While Your Lips Are Still Red.

Also, Japanese visual kei band Dir en Grey are getting pretty big in Europe now and have managed a 3 date tour of the UK, which included London and 2 other English cities XD But give them a few more months and we'll maybe see them in Glasgow. Definitely two to check out, if you're open minded enough for it, that is Wink
