I hate music snobs more than anything Mcfly are a good pop band and they sing good pop songs. And in this world of manufactered pop and bad rap and R and B we need good pop bands. They aren't trying to save the universe they have said themselves they just like making pop music
and Danny Jones has been playing guitar since he was 6 - and anyone who has heard him play a rift live will agree that he has the potential to be great one day. Stop dissing them - you don't have to like them. I am not a huge fan but I do acknowledge talent. I don't like Mariah Carey , whitney huston or ( dare I say) Leona Lewis BUT I will acknowledge they all can sing. Mcfly are ok - they write their own songs, play their own instruments and NEVER mime Give them a break
I really don't like mc'fly, mainly becasue I hate pop music. You might think that this Danny Jones character is good, but he is no where near in the same league as guitarists like Slash. In years to come peole will be saying Mc' who now? whereas they will still be talking about bands like Nirvana, heck Kurt Cobain is dead yet he is still more famous and earning more than Mc'Fly, there is even a biopic about Nirvana being made, which is more than you can say about Mc' Bluebottle.
Like a fat a guy at an all you can eat buffet life got in my way.
