This is the list from the Channel 4 programme from Music Week (via CoolClarity). The numbers have been rounded up or down apparently. They were taken on 11 October 2005 and counted from 1 January 2000. And bear in mind that it is SALES, no other criteria.

And as 'colin' pointed out on the UKHOF Forum - it excludes any albums that are Best Of's (Hence the Beatles number 1's album being omitted) and any albums released prior to 2000 (David Gray's White Ladder and Moby's Play would have appeared in the list quite highly based on JUST their post 2000 sales).
It was also pointed out that the artists to feature - Robbie Williams, Madonna, Westlife etc... all have new material out right now. How strange!!!
