Ebony Eyes by the Everly Brothers used to make me cry.
Now it's Unchained Melody by Gene Vincent - it makes me think of an ex boyfriend who died some years ago
It takes a second to find a special person, a minute to get to know them, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but an entire lifetime to forget them
I think we had this topic sometime last year, and came to the conclusion that it's all to do with your own personal circumstamce's. I lost a child in 92 and the one that always makes me cry is "tears in heaven" Eric Clapton, the words are just so poignant.
Now how can I say this so you all understand? Ash didn't WIN! And Kat is 30 yrs old FGS.

One to my left- dirty pretty things don't know why just seems sad. the scientist-cold play swallowed by the sea-cold play. btw they don't actually reduce me to tears there just sad.
Another one that always make me blub is Dance with my father--Luther Vandross, it makes me think of my dad, and how I'd love him to be back with me, and also it reminds me what a waste of talent it is, that Luther died so young with still so much to give.

Hi Sub long time no see! I've been here all the time, but the BB forum moves so fast you can't catch up with people, I've seen you a couple of times and replied but probably by the time you've checked it, it's moved to about page 5 Hope you and your family are well, I'm sure we'll meet a lot when BB is over, and we get OUR forum back

i didn't even know that song before but i've just looked up the lyrics and they are so sad!
in my life by the beatles always makes me sad. just because i have always listened to it at significant points in my life. and it makes me think of one of my best friend who died two years ago when i was sixteen.
And In The End The Love You Take Is Equal To The Love You Make
- Remember that, the Beatles were all about love, it's all you need. Peace and love everyone!

Tears in heaven ~ Eric Clapton and Everybody hurts ~REM are both songs that reduce me to tears. They are both songs that played at my sons funeral and I can bring myself to hear them anymore.
It would probably be something off Faith by The Cure. So I don't listen to it. If in the mood, certain Low songs would most definitely work, especially July, Two Step, I Remember, & their cover of Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me...
"See you on doomsday!"- Sadegh Hedayat's suicide note
Hallelujah is the spelling. The John Cale version works more for me.
The songs of Faith that work the best are All Cats are Grey, The Drowning Man & Faith. Haven't heard it in years and have avoided the reissue. Though ironically have probably reviewed it....
