Like you children could even understand the greatness of that episode (a real rarity these days). It is up there with the mo's treasure episode.
And as for the bloke below me saying that homers odysey and the MJ ep were the best.............whatever....
I am sick to death of watching any of the first season. The animation is crap, the voices are weird and it just isn't as funny.
And we're getting closer to seeing them again now. Watching that one with the camping in the woods makes me want to throw my television out the window.

Gotta agree with you there, I used to make sure at any cost I would be watching the new episodes but now, ok there the odd moment of merriments, but nothing like the belly ach of the first 8 seasons.
You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act. Barbara Hall - 2000
I cannot STAND the one where Homer tells the family how he used to be apart of that music group with Apu, Skinner, Wiggum and Barney. Where they climb to the top of Moes Tavern, and sing on the roof.
It probably doesnt help that I hate the song they sing "Baby on board..."- It makes me shuddering thinking about it...
