Seriously, look back at all the series of this show.
Series 1-3 are dated, but were good for the time
Series 4 is good but slightly dated
Series 5-9 are classics, no-one can argue with that, every episode was comedy gold
Series 10-11 are alright, but the quality really started declining as the series went on
Series 12 onwards are just plain rubbish. No funny jopkes, the characters are stale, the stories are rubbish, and they've even ruined Homer. How people still rate this show is beyond me
sorry i dnt agree. simpsons is still wicked and will remain that way intill one of the cast dies. and i mean the voices. dan castelnneta is the main 1 if he goes simpsons will finish.

mate, we all have opinions, but ur opinion is different to mine! they are all excellen up to season 15, then they were rubbish!! there we go!!
I agree that some episodes (ie. Kill the Alligator and Run) are terrible, but you can't say all of Seasons 1-3 and 12 onwards are bad. I mean look at The Computer Wore Menace Shoes, Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk and Brother Can You Spare Two Dimes? All in series you mentioned as bad.

i think you got a point to a certain degree, and i think the point i am going to make could be used for just about any current or new animation series.
the fact is they have done just about everything with the show that they possibly can, they were talking about stopping it altogether, which i think is not too long away. as the film is coming out sometime in the future i think that that may well be the last simpsons for a while (unless they get a ricky gervais style to write thier own)

I agree that season 13 and onwards haven't had much of the classics that were in seasons 3-9, although one of my favorite episodes Blame It On Lisa was in season 13, I have to admit, they just aren't funny any more...
