I assume the previous post is some sort of joke gone wrong. Seasons 1-5 are about the most brilliant things ever produced for television. Seasons 6 through 9 are mostly good, with some exceptions. Starting in season 10, there are quite a few really, really stinky episodes with only a few chuckles mixed in. The rot persists at least through season 15. I haven't seen all of the most recent, but I am encouraged to have seen several pretty good recent episodes, and the film was quite creditable.
Sorry, I should have said in the previous post that season 10 was also mostly good, and the cringe-makingly bad years begin with season 11. To learn whether they ever end, I will have to wait for Channel 4 to resume broadcasting them or for the DVD release, whichever comes first.
