How long do we have to wait for Bart to grow up. I mean come on aren't they milking the whole simpsons situation. If anyone has seen the new episodes on Sky one they are becoming boring, at least Futrama finished at a high point.
I actually love that quirky inconsistency of the Simpsons - the fact that they do not age except in 'telling the future' episodes.
**************** - It is spelt definitely, not definately, definatly or in any other equally weird ways - It is would/could/should HAVE, not would/could/should OF.

2001? That's a conservative estimate. As someone who has watched since it's debut on Skt One back when I was still in secondary school I think this show should have been put out to pasture a long time ago. Compared to the glory years it is now an embarrassing shambles and the tweeness now makes it look anaemic even against shows like Family Guy and American Dad, which have blatantly ripped-off The Simpsons yet are now doing it better.

I don't mind if they go on forever. Even One quality episode of the Simpsons in a whole series would be worth it, and better than anything else out there.
I dont know if we are watching the same show . I think their retro 90's episode was hysterical as was the rest of this season . The great thing about a show like the Simpson's is that it is a political satire. As the country changes so will the simpsons. Everyone has run out of ideas just look at the movies out there but to run out of ideas and still put out quality content now thats tuff.
