Just seen the episode 2day where Homer met his mum 4 the first time in 27 years. OMG !! This is the first episode of the Simpsons that has ever brought a tear 2 my eye. The bit at the end when his mum had 2 run off agen, n they sed goodbye was so sad, and then when the credits came up, the whole time u just saw Homer sat on the car bonet lookin at the stars. It was sooo sad, in my opinion, far 2 serious 2 b on the simpsons. Ive never seen Homer luk sooo sad

i have seen that one a couple of times now and i do think its quite sad. it is quite a serious episode for the simpsons

I'm pretty hacked off cause that was the first episode in ages that I hav'nt seen and I get a visit from the bloody landlady during it. I really do need to get that recordable DVD.

Amazingly that was only the second time I've ever seen that one. It's a shame they don't do episodes like this anymore. This and Moaning Lisa have to be the saddest episodes.

The one where Bleeding Gum's Murphy dies is pretty sad too! (I think it's called 'round Springfield..if not it's on the same DVD!)

I have never cried over a TV show, but i narly did, it makes me have a cold heart feeling, if you know what i mean!?!?!?!? I nearly cried!!
