Friends is constantly repeated on E4, so why cant The Simpsons be repeated?

yeh i know ever time i swtich to E4 i always see friends, i suppose their trying to relive the day when friends was a fanstatsic american comdey and when they were actually funny
simpsons would be good but wouldnt it be up against SKYONE which has simpsoms episodes nearly 2 times a day+ futaurama+ malcolm in the middle?
