The only one I've ever cried to (at?) was the one when Marge is tempted to stray with her French bowling instructor and towards the end she has to make a choice to drive to see Homer at work or the Frenchie. When she marches into the Power Plant I have a little cry.

I don't cry to the Simpsons. I don't suppose I cry to comedy cartoons.
Sorry to be off topic, but Nesquik, I had nesquik today. And I am thinking about it now. Plus, nesquik doesn't have a "c" in it. Haha. I will stop being a pain now.

I havent really cried, but have gotten very emotional at certain episodes, although when the series ends for ever, I think I will have a breakdown. One perticularly moving episode is Mother Simpson. Seeing Homer at the end of the episode, sitting on his car bonnet, just watching the stars in the night sky is beautiful.
I think you'll be back!

Yah, I'll have to say this episode made me cry. Just the way Homer just sat there from a shot of him in the sun, cut to night time with a sky full of stars and Homer was still sitting there. It was such a bittersweet ending. Also the episode where Bart kills a bird and has to take care of the nestlings he orphaned which turned out to be lizards. But the police were on a crackdown to kill the lizards. There was a scene with Marge and Bart and Bart saying to Marge something like 'I know everyone thinks they're evil, but I cared for them and I love them'. Shot to him looking really sad and then a look of understanding crosses Marge's face, when you realise thats exactly how she feels about Bart.

Yeah, Bart the Mother is great. Seeing Marge say "Run for it" was good too.

My top sad episodes: Mother Simpson, the end bit chokes me every time (the music at the end is what creates most of the emotion). Something in my eye... D'oh. Duffless, when Homer and Marge ride off on the bike. Ahhh (but I couldn't stand a sober Homer for long). Marge Be Not Proud, when Marge finds out Bart's been shoplifting. Marge's disappointment at the end when she thinks Bart's done it again, but it's a picture of the family for her). Bart the Mother, when Bart realises what he's done.

The fact that the show is animated by no means means that it cant pack an emotional punch. The Simpsons has offered some of the finest most poignant acting I have ever seen. What about Burns Heir, where Bart has to fire Homer, and Homer says "Ill miss you, son". Great work from Dan Castallanetta.
I think you'll be back!

The one with Dustin Hoffman as Lisa's supply teacher. He's on the train at the end, she doesn't want him to leave and he scribbles a note for her, telling her that if she's ever worried about anything to just read it. The train pulls away, he reminds her again, and as she opens it up, it just says "You Are Lisa Simpson". Gets me every time. And I can't stand Lisa.

None of them, you bunch of wusses (Only joking) I did have a tear in my eye when Bart finally didn't get a fail in an exam. And my ex-gf used to blubb at the Simpsons all the time. ------------ Remembrance is a form of meeting. Forgetfulness is a form of freedom. A sense of humour is a sense of proportion.

The end of "Mother Simpson" is a tear bringer.
Where he's sat on the bonnet of his car, for hours, just staring in the direction where his long-lost mother has once again disappeared from his life...
