does anybody esle think that the new series has lost down to earth "real life" comedy that origanly made the simpsons grate? the new series has become full of slapstic humour that just isnt funney and they have turnd homer into a bumbling idiot

Well yeah, if you mean Season 12 - 15. Apparently it gets better after those. But yes, Season 13 at least from whats been shown so far is nothing in comparison with say Season 6.

I hate the new episodes. I can't bring myself to watch them, they're so unfunny and unlike the originals, they're just an insult to Matt Groening.
It seems like all they can do in the new ones is make them travel to places like India, China, Italy, England (not so new) and I'm sick of it. There's always a different excuse for going but the trips are always along the same lines, I hate it!
