i think that if the movie goes well, they'll stop making episodes and end on a high. If it's not popular then i think they'll carry on making episodes to get the ratings back up. What do u think?

I think the movie will not affect the episodes at all, but i am not sure that the movie will be that good, if you look at all the comedy episode shows that have been made into movies, the movies are never as good as the episodes.
The movie is unlikely to affect the episodes. The simpsons would have been axed if one of the episodes from series 14 upwards had been its pilot, but has carried on regardless. The movie will doubtless make a huge profit, so will be successful in that sense, but there is a very good chance it will be rubbish. They should have made a film at its peak.
I also have to disagree with g-stuff. Although this may generally be the case, south park bigger longer and uncut was the funniest film I have ever seen.
