Since I watch new and old episodes of Time Team on my PC , I`ve been challenging myself to find the Dig sites using Google Maps, particularly the Satellite imagery. And believe me it`s not easy. I find a lot of the time that it`s not until looking at Stewart Ainsworth`s maps am I able to zero in on the sites .One day I hope to see Phil Harding digging his ditch with his feathered cap on in front of the JCB , LOL that would be neat. Just today I watched the " Castle in the Round " episode and using the Satellite imagery from Google and zooming in on the dig site I was actually able to see the scarring from the trench that ran NE radiating out from the well .For me this is cracking fun and I can`t wait for future challenges...........
