I'm some kind of sluggard, only a few hundred and I've been around since day 1. Mind you it was easier, quicker and racier on the old forum where I did the most damage....

Aaaaarrrrggghh. You said a no-no word Never, never mention her name in the same breath as Jenni B and Katie H.
Ian G. [in near-erupting mode ]
Most people I know of in the archaeological world who have had dealings with Helen Geake have found her extremely professional and also an extremely pleasant person.
Now, if your going to erupt, Ian, go and do it somewhere where the rest of us can't hear you, please.
Don't worry, IG's just feeling the effects of unrequited love, and this is his way of being hard.
Serioulsy IG, think before you make personal comments about a valued and well thought of member of the team. We all know, and have done for a very long time how you feel, no need to state it all over again.

Ah weel. As I have said before, nothing has changed here I strongly suggest that you look at my post again but with a more observant eye. And for Chris D to call a 70 year old "childish" is a wee bit OTT don't you think? And, to put it in context, is it really possible for someone who has been on anti-depressants for 5 years to "almost erupt"?
Funny I have worked with her. So be carful what you post as you never know who is reading. You said "Where can I get a signed her picture"? what archaeologists are now famous lol. Anyway, i will see what I can do the next time I see her. I may forget or may not. Oh, well thats it. So please be carful about such topics. thanks
