I'm still a TT watcher but haven't visited the forum much since the good old days, back when it wasn't a C4 forum. Now I pop in to find it's probably going to disappear like the bird in the Carry On films. So I just had to say hello to those who may remember a day in Worcester in the early days. Good to see you're still out there 'getting it on' ;-) so to speak.
I thought I'd post this to just the Midlands 'bit' but then decided to be more wide-ranging. So if Mandy, Mr W, or any of the Midlanders are out there - thought I'd take the opportunity to say 'Hi there' :-) BFN, Jane
I'm not a total regular like before but Mr. W put me on to the changes. Looks like we will be around for a while to chat about all things archie. Hang in there.
Jinksy - I remember you name from a g e s ago ! How you doing?
Yes - a lot of changes here, and I'm sure you will already probably be aware that many folk have emigrated to another forum, whilst others are posting to both.
Time Team remainst much the same, though - with some really interesting specials about important recent discoveries.
Hi Mandy, Good to hear you're still around. Say hi to Mr W from me too. Any suggestions which threads to watch?
Bruce, you're right, it was absolutely ages ago when I was very much a regular to the forum. I enjoyed a few of the early 'days out' too.
Then I had a gap when I couldn't get internet access so I lost track of what was happening & once I was able to get connected I found things had changed quite dramatically. Although I've popped in very occasionally I've not got as involved as I used to because there was so much to trawl through to find the gems. (& on a slow dial-up that's even worse)
Now we have broadband maybe I'll pop in more often :-)
I'm really looking forward to the big dig as I'm into all things Roman. Kenchester will be of special interest as it's not far from where I live these days.
