Tony Robinson and the team visit the banks of the River Witham, just outside Lincoln, where archaeologists are digging up evidence of a major Bronze Age settlement.

Yes a great programme, especially the lovely casting mould. BUT, wish we could have a look at good archeological drawings of objects excavated, they are so much clearer than photographs. Two good virtual reality pots - what a gorgeous shape they were. Why does it all have to be covered up again? It happens too often. Pepinouska. PS to Venutius - going to sign that petition NOW.
Oh what a lot to see ! I'd have given a lot to bring on my rheumatism on that dig, what with all the features and the swag. Great programme and a format I really enjoy. More like this.

There's an almost identical stone to that in the Arch. & Anth. Museum in Cambridge.
