A set of drawings in colour by TT artist Victor Ambrus has appeared for sale on the Internet. These drawings, lost or stolen in 1980-1982, surfaced at several auction rooms before being offered for sale on the Internet recently.

Victor wishes to make it clear that the works are unsigned and unauthorised, and is keen that TT fans are aware of the situation. All titles of copyright belong to Victor Ambrus.

Sorry to hear that - I hope Victor manages to get recompensed or, at least, that the villains can be tracked down and get their due reward.

Of course, as a great fan of Victor's work, if any of his TT illustrations come on the market legitimately - please let me know!

Unlike many artists, Victor likes to keep all his original pictures, which is one reason why he is so upset about these turning up for sale in this way. You can be virtually certain that if you come across one being offered for sale, it is without his permission.
