Also, I would just like to point out that "Whickers War" was shown twice in the place of where the last two episodes of Pioneer House should have been.
Why did they decide to show this, and then repeat it the following Sunday, instead of keeping Pioneer's original slot? Were ratings that bad?
To me, this was one of the most compelling Reality TV mini-series that have been on this year, and shouldn't have fallen into oblivioin like it did.
NO!!! I've been waiting for 2 weeks thinking 'oh it'll be back after the Whickers War program has finished, looked in radio times yesterday... I can't believe there wasn't any real warning that it had changed. We were really looking forward to it. Is their any chance anyone would send a video on to us, please?
Jenni has sent me a video of the last two episodes, which were shown 'back to back' in an early slot, just to get it over with, I guess. Unfortunately, the package is still at the Post Office (is it still called that?), as it was 'undeliverable' and none of my family have remembered to go and pick it up.
Of course, when I've finished with it, I am aware that there is an increasingly long list of people who want to watch it.
It may be best to ask Jenni if or when you may be able to borrow it.
My views on why Channel 4 decided to suddenly axe the programme with no warning are documented above.... See here (third post down). I really do think that the 'Big Brother' audience was a consideration.
