I am trying to email Phil Harding have taken up the art of flint napping or making a mess of it at a rip old age of 51 years. Has Phil written a book ref fint napping, I'd love to meet the guy. Alway my wife Jean and I enjoy old Phils input. Any news of Phil would be welcome. Thank you for any help Graham

As I understand it Phil prefers his technology to be contemporary with his flints and has yet to brave to world of Cyberspace. I believe he does now have a copmuter, but I doubt it will be connected to anything other than an electric socket!

Tony wasn't joking in his intro to Finds on the Fairway when he said they'd brought all their modern technology... and Phil Harding!

You could try writing c/o the production office. The address is on the website somewhere, probably under FAQs, it's in Goldhawk Road (49 iirc), London W12. I think they're quite good at forwarding stuff on.

John Lord in Norfolk, and his son Will in Suffolk, are both expert flint knappers who run courses.

My son had to master flint knapping as part of his apprenticeship as a mason -Weymouth is the place if in the west country.
