hi everyone this is my first time on the forum, as a fan of Time Team I thought you all may be interested to know I was a a place called Hannafore near Looe Cornwall yesterday 27th May & saw two Time team Land Rovers Then whilst sitting having a cuppa by the sea who should walk by but Mick Aston. So I came onto C4 Time Team site to see if theres a dig near by but cant seem to find out any information. Anyone out there know? Cheers Compostlady
Hi there Compostlady. Welcome to the forum. Time Team almost never announces the locations of its digs in advance. Local people may know what's happening, but TT find it best not to inform the whole world, because digs are seldom in a position to cope with masses of visitors. Digs are often on private land, with limited access and no visitor amenities.
Occasionally a dig takes place somewhere that is already set up for visitors (e.g. a paid-entry heritage site), which will be happy to announce TT's dig in advance.
