It's good to see him now being rewarded for all that he's contributed to archaeology over many years.

Mick seemed to be in his oils on the in the King of Bling special. I wonder if this is more his niche now, rather than the 3 day dig format?

Mick does enjoy the Specials. And as you will know, he has a special interest in the medieval period, which for archaeologists includes the Anglo-Saxon. So this one was right up his alley.

Mick supported a Big Dig in Cambridgeshire last weekend - very much in the style of TT's own Big Dig. Carenza was there too.

May I offer my congrats to the Prof As I said in another link,I think the Circus special was excellent and really got me focused instead of thinking-oh,ok.That must sound harsh but the challenge of meeting serious arch versus "salesman" producers reaches a point of no return.
