Just came accross this on Amazon.
"Time Team" Guide to the Archaelogical Sites of Britain and Ireland
Does anyone know anything about it?

Was advertised after last night's show. Looks interesting enough so will be going on my 'to buy' list.

I missed that last nigh by being in too much of a rush to phone she who must be worshiped and obeyed.

It's featured in the current Trench One too. Looks interesting. It's said to be a gazetteer of the "must see before you die" archaeological sites in Britain and Ireland if I remember correctly.

Arrived this morning.
Looks very goog and have allready been to Castell Henllys today.

I bought it the other day and it looks really
good, i could'nt get into "Archealogy is rubbish" but the new guide just does exactly what it says on the tin.

Tha amount of historical sites on this beautiful island of ours is simply breathtaking and they feature in the guide in all their glory, Rivelaux Abbey, Richbourough and the Roman ruins in Wroxeter are just a few of the sites that fascinate me and unfortunately i haven't been to any of them but i will.
