I believe Time Team are to visit Guernsey the island of my birth. My childhood home is believed to have been built on the foundations of a house belonging to Richard The Lionheart's minstrel Blondel. The story goes that our family, on my father's side, are direct descendants of the minstrel. He was given land in Normandy and The Channel Islands as a reward for bailing the King out of prison in Austria. Unfortunately our home was sold in 1984, it would have been interesting to have asked the Time Team investigate the property if it had still been in the family.

That would be a first for TT, I don't think they've been to the Channel Islands before.

I do like Guernsey, we've been there a couple of times.

I don't live in Guernsey now, although I still have rellies there.

Ugh , Guernsey , a vile little Island. Its so built up with so many cars its like a London suburb at sea. Theres hardly any true countryside left on it so heavens knows where TT will dig. Jersey is far nicer.
