Unfortunatly missed this as C4 put it on an hour earlier than normal. Because I work on Sundays I usually catch the programme on C4+1 but being an hour earlier I caught the last two minutes. I do wish TV companies would not mess with the times. Any-way was it interesting or did'nt I miss much.

If you've got broadband you should be able to pick it up on 4oD.
Fascinating though this programme was I feel that (as usual) massive assumptions were made based on very little evidence. A roman recycling site? recycling stones and brooches? Uh??? Why didn't they recycle Phil's unused kiln? Why only brooches? Is it really feasible to transport plastered stone to a site to clean? I think the three day format sometimes shoots Time Team in the foot, perhaps if more time was spent on each site then perhaps we would find out real information based on fact rather than whacky theorys which fit some of the 'evidence'
It is an OK episode but nothing special. A bit confused, but that's the way it goes sometimes. The exchanges between Francis and Guy were interesting. Perhaps slightly contrived but I think it got over some of the various opinions about what was going on.
Enjoyed this one. Lots of Roman / Iron age? I like the interplay between crew and the different ideas they have.It is interesting to see how different people come to different 'conclusions' based on the same 'evidence'!
