I expect it'll be a waste of time asking for a reason for this new rule, perhaps C4 is worried about "grooming" or some such. What does concern me is that by imposing the rule on this and the History forum we're making it more difficult for youngsters to get involved in subjects which are worthwhile and interesting. I'm sure many of us will remember the useful and interesting input this forum has had from a number of under 16s.
They'll just have to lie about their age or go elsewhere I guess.
A stupid rule in my opinion. How the hell are the youngsters supposed to learn if they are not allowed to ask questions? Google has the ability to burn fingers but Internet Fora provide differing answers, it doesnt make sense.
I suppose something has happened and this is a knee jerk reaction?
This seems very unfair - all those GCE takers who want to know answers will have to go round in circles to get into what is a worthwnile and interesting forum. I wonder why the powers that be have made such a ruling?
And why should we be uninterested in what the younger generations have to say? Their input is valuable. In another decade or two they'll be running the world.
