I don't believe Time Team has ever visited in the Republic of Ireland (please correct me if I'm wrong).

Out here in the Mid-West and West of Ireland there are some really interesting puzzles waiting to be solved and SOMETIMES we even get nice weather (often in May and September)!

Time Team has been in the USA, Spain and Northern Ireland (and other places too I'm sure), but I'd really like to see them over here. If the producer is interested, I could ask around for interested archaeologists to act as hosts for a suitably photogenic and interesting 3-day dig. (You'd need a local licensable archaeologist to get an excavation licence).

What about a rural theme, less one of the ancient sites and more one about the life of peopl ein ireland during the last 200 years?

I have heard on the grapevine that Time Team are coming back to Northern Ireland.
