We live in a less rigidly defined world now, where class divisions are becoming more blurred and few have the unquestioning acceptance that was prevalent with my parents genaration,of how society worked. People (and that includes the Royals) are expected to
earnthe respect of others, something which is a legacy of the Thatcher years, ironically.
