Hi,

you need to contact Dave Saxby at the Museum of London Archaeological Services (MoLAS) as he supervised all phases of the Liberty's site at Merton Abbey Mills. Time Team only scratched the surface with the site. Subsequently, there were 2 more excavations of the site after Time Team visited.

He will probably have a copy of the TT prog as well have an extensive amount of information for you to sift through!

MoLAS telephone number is 020 7410 2200

Sally - if all else fails - and if you can wait a few days - and if you (or someone you know) have access to digital TV - the Liberty's episode is screening on More 4 at 6.00pm on Thursday 17th November. Ninja

As I remember, not one of my favourite episodes. I found the exercise rather pointless. Frown

No, I agree - from the traditional archaeology point-of-view, not one of the most exciting programmes. But, from the history of fabrics and textiles manufacturing point-of-view, possibly quite interesting.

I hope you manage to get hold of the programme, Sally. And good luck with your course at Norwich School of Art and Design - just over the Market Place from where I work!
