......how priviledged I am to live where I do. I've witnessed massive land loss in my shortish life span and spent years searching the levels for evidence of my forebears over these ephemeral landscapes. Areas I played in as a child simply don't exist anymore (due to erosion)and I can only imagine the effect on our ancestors of these rapid losses. Also I never thought how an modern, inland, British persons mind set 'worked' untill tonight,thank you Time Team for giving me this insight. Fantastic views of Abbotts Hall btw,the cameraperson caught it perfectly.
