I've just had it confirmed that the TT forum will be kept open, but without my input after today. The forum will be moderated centrally, along with (virtually) all of the other C4 forums, from now on until the next series.

Well, thank you for all you've done, Steve - on our behalf, not only recently but over the past few years.

I guess you'll be kept busy elsewhere - but your light touch and sensitive attitude as a moderator will be missed - along with your many interesting and insightful contributions to the threads.

Although, I guess our paths may cross again!

Thanks for fighting on our behalf Steve, and we will miss having an intelligent and knowledgable moderator. Not that I've agreed with all your decisions over the years....

I'll be sorry to see you go, Splatty...you've given us loads to think about, laugh at, and feel sorry for...good luck with whatever you do in the future, and pop in whenever you get the chance...

Where we have tried your patience you have maintained an air of dignity and professionalism. Having seen the state of the moderation across the rest of the fora they could do no worse than to send all their present lot to you for lessons in dealing with the public.
