There's a Big Roman Dig forum opening shortly, so I expect I'll see most of you there. In the meantime this is going to take up a lot of my time over the next month:
I've just come back from two weeks in Scotland to this news.
You made me feel very welcome back when I first found the original forum following the screening of the Blaenafon dig. Since then you've answered the questions of me and many others. More than this you have done more than you had to do to help any serious correspondent to the forum.
I hope that my message will not get censored when I say that the words "shooting" "self" and "foot" come to my mind when thinking how to describe C4's decision to remove you.

So could this be an end to a very good forum. Stupid is it not. I just hope that the powers that be, will see sence & see that this forum is being enjoyed by its regulars & will keep it open.
If the worst come to the worst & the the forum does close. I would like to say. Best wishes to you all in the future & keep on digging Time Team.
Unfortunatly I can not get on the computers as much as I would like to. do to people using the libary computers.

So whats going on, with the closing of the forum. It seams very stange to close a forum befor a show has finished on TV. Is the future of the TV show safe? I most certanly hope that it is.
