Could anyone in the group have a look at google earh typr in post code b97 6ug and then for grid ref 52.19'21.40N 1.58'34.63W and tell me what they think the marks in the ground are please, I know what I'd like them to be As a note the ruins of Bordesley Abbey are about a 1/4 of a mile away
I don't have access to Google earth but I do know (from a series of published reports - one of which is available on the Internet) that there are many earthworks surrounding the Abbey some of which relate to water management.
Thanks for the responce and I will look up the items you mension, however I don't think I made myself very clear at all. If on google earth I draw a line from Bordesley Abbey to Hewell Grange at approx the halfway piont there is a field which clearly show circular features in it this ground however is much higher than the Abbey or the Grange on either side Thanks Andy L
