When the archaologist claimed to have found what he thought may be a plunge pool, why was Helen so quick to debunk his theory.
Should she not be reminded of the site that had a roman bathhouse by a golf course, the name eludes me. Was that not a large roman industrial workplace, with a connected bathhouse. So why was it unfeasible at this weeks location?

Wasn't it to do with the size of the pool? I don't think she was suggesting that industrial sites do not have baths.

I think it was also because there didn't seem to be any evidence that there were all the other rooms and pools that would go alongside the plunge pool.
