As Pam has indicated on the NEFF thread that she is unable to do Pickering in April I have asked if she would be able to do it later in the year as I have an alternative in mind.
So anybody up for a joint NW/NEFF trip to a castle, a museum and an abbey on April the 24th??

Have just posted the following on the NEFF thread.

"As Pam and Valerie have asked nicely I will reveal the alternative for the 24th of April.

I have been looking at Skipton Castle, the Museum of Craven Life in Skipton and Bolton Abbey. If you think this would be ok then I shall sort out some sort of itinerary.....and close car parking in case Dougal comes along!!! Big Grin Big Grin "

What say you folks??

Think I went to Skipton Castle as a tiny sprog. Isn't there supposed to be a ghost?

I might be able to manage Skipton. Though I think I'll have to do a bit of negotiation.

Ripley's definitley a no go for me I'm afraid.

Not a problem - I will be driving myself (last outing in the car before it gets traded in for a newer model... whispering as don't want the car to hear that).

AAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Eek

By a cruel twist of fate I received a phone call yesterday evening from one of my bosses informing me he has set his wedding date to June 12th!!
Despite my pleadings that this couldn't be (as I had an important trip to Penrith to take care of), I was unable to sway him.

So, will 19th of June be ok for Penrith folks??? Confused

Sorry Phil didn't take any pictures due to my camera being rubbish! Any excuse to buy a digital one. Will see what I can do about a report though if you like.

P. S. June 19th should be fine with me.

Think everybody's bedroom is bigger than that Humus - in fact that smallest house in Britain (one in Conwy) has a bigger bedroom! The question is do you have as nice lighting?
