Quick pole - did anybody else watch the Historyonics programme on BBC1? If so was it just me or was someone trying to be Terry Jones?

Would love to be able to give you an opinion on this - but Historyonics is not on up here. Mad

We get a programme of clips of film from the Scottish Film Archives instead. Roll Eyes

It was, what's the word? Ah yes, silly.

And you're right, Terry Jones does it much better, he seems to get the balance right.

Still, it was a giggle, and I'm sure it will have persuaded some people that history is interesting

Humus,

I arrived home to-day and curiosity has got the better of me.
Did you attend the Nantwich musical festival? Also,
driving home from Manchester airport to-day,I really appreciated Spring in England. After sensibly having slumbered the Winter away. Nature,in all it's glory is to be seen everywhere.
On a beautiful day like to-day,Nature has awakened ,and as I drove along,on every side was to be seen green meadows, hiils, woods, valleys and streams, topped by the various coloured blossoms.
The gift of Nature to Mankind.
Looking around me,I can see what a beautiful country England is. No wonder half the world wants to live here!.

Ron.

If tha's willing to accept a dodgy coloru scheme with no snappy title or logo, then I'd say http://www.sucs.org/~cmckenna/ttff/index.html would fit the bill - photos from trips I've been on and the occasional bit other stuff as well!

Also, I caught a glimpse of the possibility of a Penrith trip. When are you thinking of for this?

Cheers Co!

I can't make the Penrith trip - its the start of my holiday with a few friends. We'll be based around Caernarfon, so I hope to get some castles in anyway!
