How very sad. Kenneth Griffith has died. As well as being an actor, he was a keen historian and some of his documentaries were quite contraversial. He was particlarly interested in South African and Irish history (especially in the fight against the British) and some of his works were banned. However, I saw "Bus to Bosworth" when I was a boy and it influenced my love of history by showing it could be a good laugh and a lot of fun. The documentaries that he later produced showed that s real history, no matter how unpalatable to some, needs to be shown to the wider world.
