1990 when I was in Uni. with the woman I love and not living 200 miles appart. That would be my vote.

Roman Britain - as long as I was a reasonably wealthy citizen and not a peasant or a slave!

After being informed by the hospital doctor's that my critically ill, unconcious four year old daughter, who had Pnuemonia, would not survive the4 night, holding her hand as dawn broke when she opened her eyes and said "hello daddy".
I have believed in miracles ever since.

Most haunted. Thank you for your kind wishes. however, my daughter is now a 34 year old journalist. Yet, the memory is of yesterday to me.

Ditto Ooban - either that or one of the ladies of the French court during the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King.

Historically, I would have liked to have sailed with 'Drake' and 'Cook' on their voyages of discovery.

What a lovely story Ron. That really cheered me up on a depressing Monday morning Smile

As for going anywhere in a time machine I'm not sure I'm really that bothered where I went so long as I had Billie Piper with me Big Grin

If I had a time machine could I not flit about and try lots of different periods?

The Saxons soumd exciting, and the Medieval religious life seems a lot different to now so I would like to try that too. Not that I am very relegious - but there again they didn't seem to be either!
