hi, i was up at the archaeological investigation in houghton on saturday the 26th of january. This was my first expirience of first hand archeology. Being a local man since 1942 i found this to be of great interest to me. i was wondering if any had any more information on the church or if any one knows if its true that time team are comin up to the north east to view this investigation?? I watch every time team and would relish seing the gang. thank you

A couple of months back Discovering County Durham was published in Britich Archaeology, I'm sure in 'Mick's travels' he mentioned something about coming back up to dig here in the next few months/years. I missed the meeting they held there (damn uni lectures!!) how did it go?
