who remembers this one? Boy, I'm dating myself now...was on in the early 60's as I recall, that's when I watched it at around 3 years old, it may have been on in the 50's, does anyone know? it was a big part of my very happy childhood & I would drive my mother mad asking for household objects to use whilst interacting with the program..see who needs computers to be interactive! lol happy days I won't see again...

My husband was on Romper Room and was Miss Rosalind's do bee! His Mum rang the TV company a few years back to see if she could get a copy, but they had all been recorded over
He still has his badge.

She was prim wasn't she? He must have been about 3 or 4 so that would make it approx. 1966-67. Was it only on in the Anglia region?

Was he born in 1963?, I was, I have no idea if it was only on in the Anglia region but I presume so, when I have the time I may go look on the Internet to see if I can find out more about it, archive type stuff, when I do I'll let you know so watch this space

My goodness, I'm wondering where you are from originally, particularly as you mentioned the Anglia region, I spent my childhood at Clacton/on/sea & I'm wondering if we were ever at school together (your hubby), I didn't leave Clacton until I was first married at 19..lol

No he's from Norfolk. I'm from Cornwall originally and we never had it down there. He still lives in the town he was born in (!) but obviously as we are still married I don't live where I was born.

Just been on The Continuity Room. Romper Room only lasted a year after Miss Rosalyn left. She was a trained Norland Nanny apparently.
