You're not imagining it, I remember it too!! It was called Sean's Show and starred Sean Hughes (he used to be a team captain on Never Mind The Buzzcocks before Bill Bailey).

So glad someone else remembers it!! It was on back in 1992/ 93 so quite a while ago.

I remember he loved Morrissey, and used to wave flowers around randomly.

The theme tune was just him singing 'it's Sean's Show' over and over...

I used to love that every episode, he'd be burgled but the burglars would leave him something rather than steal!

A repeat/DVD release would be appreciated.

I have an episode of Saturday Live from '87 with his 1st TV appearance. Still cracks me up!

In the first series he would get ansa phone messages from Samuel Pepys! and always drew attn to the black square that appeared just before an 'ad break'

Series 2 had him putting 'cool jazz' on when the phone went!

The Cure were in it once too!

I think it was a (possibly unoficially) a remake of the American 'Garry Shandling's show' (the one he did before Larry Saunders)
