I used to love watching this, firstly with Kenneth Cranham as 'Harvey Moon' and then the guy who now plays Honey's Dad in EastEnders. It also brought us Pauline Quirke and Linda Robson. It was set in WW2 time.

I was in my very early teens when this was shown, so you're obviously a lot younger than me! I remember my late Father going on about how good it was and true to life (he was a Royal Engineer in WW2).
I love shows like that. Based on real life but with a comical twist!
