I remember Noel Edmonds presenting LIVE on Christmas Morning from the old Post Office Tower in London. The Tower with the revolving restuarant that isn't open to the public anymore.
The thing is I can't find anything but a passing reference to it anywhere.
I remember it as a TV special event and the whole of the UK was talking about it.
You don't get those sort of massive TV events anymore.
What special Xmas TV will there be this year? A few half hearted attempts at Xmas specials, a few repeats of old Xmas specials and some movies that although they haven't been on free-to-air TV before absolutely everybody's seen already a few times.
I say stick Edmonds back up the Post Office Tower for Xmas Morning and those others too. Cheggars, Philbin and the rest.
