Hiya kymrob, her character was Dolly Clothes-Peg. I used to love it as well,I always used to sit with my children when they were little and watch it.

I hesitate to admit this but apparently I used to hide behind the sofa and cry when Worzel took his head off ha ha! I was fine with Daleks and Tripods and stuff but Worzel taking his head off scared the s**t out of me!??

God bless John Pertwee, he was so endearing as worzel! My sister loved it and had a foamy model of him - pulled it apart while fighting, pieces flying everywhere - my ma nearly killed me

A mate of mine was a huge Doctor Who and Worzel Gummidge fan and the day John Pertwee died he called me and insisted we have a minute's silence on the phone out of respect for the great man.

Bingette - nice idea but who could be Worzel? Not sure you could replace the great Pertwee. Maybe his son?

I used to love Aunt Sally but was terrified whan Worzel changed his head.

'Aunt Sally' has just turned up in EastEnders!!! Worzel Gummidge was fab!! Such a shame that both Jon Pertwee and Charlotte Coleman (who played the little girl) are no longer with us.
