Anybody else remember the Garden Gang stories by Jane Fisher? They were published by Ladybird
Books. The novelty was that they were written
by a Child. Every story was about some vegetable
or other like Peter Pear or Grace Grape. (not
to be confused with the Munch Bunch or Poddington Peas)

I remember having some of those books. From what I remember they were quite good. I can recall having one about "Lucy Leek" (might have the first name wrong though-memory of it is quite hazy)
