Does ANYONE remember this bizarre 70's/early 80's kids TV thingy?? I can't even call it a show, it was more of an animation. Basically it was this violin playing egg shaped thing with arms and legs but no face, and there was always some wierdo loitering in bushes with binoculars watching Ludwig. As I'm typing this I'm laughing because it sounds SO stupid!!!!

yes im sorry to say pcbh fan i do remember the hideous little thing. i hated it my younger sisters all loved it.

Thank goodness for that! I can't find anything about it on t'internet! It was by far THE most bizarre and peculiar of all kids animations that I can think of.

Thanks again GG - that's just brought back some memories. I now know WHY I remember it! Aside from being totally wierd, the theme tune was VERY annoying and then you get the bloke at the end of the opening credits saying "Ah Ludwig" in a VERY BBC accent!
