Does anyone remember The Phantom Tollbooth? that freaked me out SOOO much and ive only just found out what it is called!!
And there was a film about some kind of trolls or something and they have to look after some kind of special baby or something :S It was on the same time as Splash yeeeeeeeeears ago n i wanted to see the rest coz it was very strange.

Tales From the Crypt used to scare me. The Cryptkeeper, the host, was this decaying skeleton who would pop out of a coffin at the beginning of each episode. It used to freak me out so much
The aforementioned Moondial. Can't remember a whole lot about it, but very atmospheric and very spooky for a then ickle me. Also one particular episode of Tales of the Unexpected, where at the end before the credits it zoomed in on an eyeball. Which belonged to a rabbit that was previously eaten? That's all that was left. That used to give me repeat nightmares for a couple of weeks.
Dr Who used to spook me too. The new one is a big pile of tosh in comparrison.
Also anyone remember Dark Towers? Used to watch it in English class at school. Fantastic!
I'm sure there are more, but the ol grey matter is trashed.
The moomins terrified me and also he demon headmaster. It was his eyes. I watched it once and could'nt watch it ever again because I had nightmares for a week!!!

Ahh yes i remember Sapphire and Steel - that DID freak me out at the time! And so did that music from the Tomorrow People! And one other thing - do u remember that sci-fi series from 1977 - The Children of the Stones? (set in Avebury, Wiltshire). Now that DID scare me! (mind u, i was only six at the time!).
