Does anyone remember having 'The Pop Man' driving around in their street? A man driving around delivering Corona Pop door to door - a bit like the milkman but with pop instead - and in a branded Corona Van rather than a milk float!!

I'm sure we can't have been the only ones in the 70's having this facility. As kids we used to look forward to his deliveries. I remember trying Cream Soda for the first time and thiking how wonderful it was!!! Now I think it's VILE!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, but I came to Britain in the early '90,s, and there was a pop man locally. This is a small northern town mind.

The fizzy pop man used to come every other Thursday.

My mum had a thing for Dandelion & Burdock, what was that all about? It was horrible stuff.

The Corona berries were a great adverts weren't they? "Let's get fizzical"

Oh good I'm glad there are others of you who remember the Corona Pop Man! Funnily enough Dandelion & Burdock was the other one I tried at the same time as Cream Soda. I actually do like D&B but no longer Cream Soda.

I believe he came to us on a Saturday.

We had the Corona man where i lived, you got about 6 bottles a week, and handed the empty bottles back. My fav was Dandilion, and they used to do sasperilla as well, but i always thought that tasted a bit like a poor version of dandilion.

That's right Joyce - I'd forgotten about handing the empties back. Some of the other flavours we had were:

Limeade
Cherryade
Orangeade
Lemonade (of course!!)
Cola
Raspberryade (yes there really was such a thing!)
Blackcurrantade (ditto!)

Anyone remember any other flaves??

LOL thinking about that list - I bet we were all high on E numbers ... YET we're still here and no 'do gooder' faffed around us wondering if we were going to be affected by it. Nope we are the strong 60's/70's/80's kids.
