i loved fame - my folks have a vidoe of me when i was about 5 dressed in lycra and legwarmers singing the themetune the horrors show it to all prospective other halves grrr - my faves were bruno and doris!!
It was one of my fav progs, I used to wear leg-warmers and ballet shoes, with a ra-ra skirt! We'd just got married and bought a video recorder when they had just come out, and we used to record and watch it every week. I loved all the songs on it, I've still got the album. My favs were Leroy ( I loved his dancing) and Coco.
Now how can I say this so you all understand? Ash didn't WIN! And Kat is 30 yrs old FGS.

i wore legwarmers coz of that show! my fav was leeroy too treacle

I remember the first series being excellent, but seemed to go downhill after that. Danny Amatulo was surely the longest reigning high school student of all time. He was at school from series one until the end!

It's funny watching Fame now as Danny seems so young (at least in the first series), whereas at the time he was years older than me. Yet another sign of old age creeping up!
