Football Stickers at Primary School when we used to offload our "Swaps" Cool

For our Secondry School Uniform we used to use the small section for the Tie rather then the traditional big section (if you know what I mean)

Can't really think what else.

Speaking of School Day Trends, I've just been watching the News on ITV 1 (Central) and they have been talking about "POGS" making a comeback (apparently)

They were talking about POGS and what not with the Slammers (Plastic POG), just talking in general about how the game is played and what not, but yer a come back on the cards? I think so Wink

Oh and they said it Originated in Hawaii in 1995 Smile

There doing another Update on this (coverage) at 6:00pm ITV 1 Central news.

Was french skipping the same as "elastics"? Where you had a load of elastic bands tied together and two people held them around their ankles whilst the other person skipped to a rhyme. The only rhyme I remember is

"England Ireland Scotland Wales. Inside outside inside ON" Big Grin

Junior school
We played jacks, elastics, skipping and they all had songs.
We collected my little ponies and smelly rubbers cos they were called rubbers and not erasures then. We collected smelly stickers and pencils.
Hello kitty was big as we had a large population of japanese children along with kitty's mate little tudlelulixam (something like that he was a penguin). Japanese tissues and paper for origarmi. pannini stickers.
In secondary school one person would buy Just 17 or mizz and it would go all round the class, with the problem page being read first.

blessed be

I remember this in my school too..... and if you had a copy of "More" you were considered really cool lol. Eek Big Grin I actually remember that the Just 17 problem page used to be used by the teacher in sex education/personal development lessons as examples of the sort of problems teens have. Eek
